What Is Terry Fabric?

Terry fabric is a cotton-containing fabric.

1. terry fabric is also called fish scale cloth and double cloth. It is a knitted fabric with single and double loops. When weaving, some yarns appear in the form of loops on other yarns of the fabric in a certain proportion and stay on the surface of the fabric, that is, terry fabric.

2. Disadvantages of terry fabric: poor air permeability, easy to generate static electricity, not easy to dye. It will be easy to draw if you are not careful when wearing it. Terry fabric should be moisture-proof and mildew-proof during storage, use, and storage, and should not be exposed to sunlight for a long time. When drying, the inner layer should be turned out, and it should not be soaked for a long time. It should not be wrung out, moisture-proof, mildew-proof, dry in the shade, and ironed at medium and low temperature.

3. Because the towel cloth has a certain elasticity, the water must be wrung out when cleaning and drying, otherwise, it will be easily pulled and deformed. Never wash terry fabric with boiling water, there will be many wrinkles. It is recommended to use either cold water or lukewarm water, in short, never use hot water.
